… are invaluable when starting out with Kanban, because they will prepare the team and the organization to have open discussions about problems that are revealed through the visualization of work on the Kanban board.
Without the frequent signals provided by reaching column WIP limits, and their public and common visibility, problems would be ignored and discussions avoided.
